WHAT YOU CAN DO AS A VOLUNTEER:

  • GROOM/TACK HORSES
  • LEAD HORSES DURING CLASSES
  • ASSIST CHILDREN IN THERAPIES
  • FEED HORSES 3 DAYS A WEEK (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)
  • ATTEND THE SPECIAL OLYMPIC GAMES
  • HELP WITH FUNDRAISING EVENTS
  • SUPPORT OUR VETERANS
  • HAVE A GREAT TIME

  • There are different levels of volunteering:
  • horsehandler, sidewalker/spotter, Horse care volunteer, Maintain property, Horse feeder, horse excerciser, GRANT SUBMISSIONS, PROGRAM PROMOTERS, etc.

       OR YOU CAN BEGIN TO EARN BENEFITS, SUCH AS RIDING, AND MORE, UNDER THESE PROGRAMS: (AND THE NEW ONES WE ARE CREATING!)

After one year of service in good standing, a horse care volunteer may apply for other volunteer positions:

ü  Charter Horse Program

ü  Horsemanship Aide/Intern

ü  Instructor Certification (Special Olympic Coach, Mental growth and development, and PATH International.)
